We live in a hyperconnected world these days. It’s a cliché, but that doesn’t make it any less true. The content provided is of course completely free of charge and adheres to our brand guidelines. It’s as simply and copy and pasting the posts you want into your social feeds. For maximum convenience, we’ve grouped them together by platform, but there are always some things to keep in mind. For instance, LinkedIn is a much more professional social network than the other two platforms and Twitter is meant for short, snappy content.

DEALER INSPIRATION: BALLINLOUGH IRELAND

A great example of a dealer that has seen a very positive impact of active social media use is Ballinlough Ireland.

Founded in 1986, they started as a small service and repair company for the transport refrigeration industry in Ballinlough, Co. Roscommon. Since then, they’ve become an established value in the Irish Thermo King dealer landscape.

In April of 2009, Ballinlough started their company Facebook page, which has since grown to over 2,800 followers. And that most remarkable thing? Every single one of those followers is organic, people who are genuinely interested in what Ballinlough has to offer. The company uses it for a variety of purposes, from Product & Services promotion, to getting news out to their clients, to attracting new employees. And of course, sometimes just to have a bit of fun. Showing people around the warehouse, highlighting new units, that sort of thing.

Recently, they’ve also become more active on LinkedIn. The tone over there is a bit more ‘serious’ and business oriented. But with 1,700 followers, Ballinlough has found great success using the platform to advertise content and attract new employees.

Overall, the dealership advocates for a strong social media presence. It’s a proactive way of engaging with your clients, rather than waiting for them to stumble onto your website on their own.
