Gogami Named 2017 Aftermarket Dealer of the Year

Extremely motivated personnel, a strong commitment to Thermo King’s brand and the investment in a second workshop were all contributing factors to Gogami’s exponential Aftermarket sales growth in 2017. The dealership, which exceeded parts quota by 354 percent last year, re-committed to aftermarket the past couple of years as tougher regulations were imposed on vehicle imports affecting unit sales.

“Gogami proactively developed a parts stocking guide based on fleet composition, securing a large order with Algeria’s military, which has the largest Thermo King fleet in the country. This ensures parts availability and delivery to remote areas,” explained Walid Sallami, Thermo King area manager, Middle East and North Africa.

The dealership’s new state-of-the-art workshop in Algiers also played an important role in Gogami’s success. “The workshop is much closer to main customers than the Batna location in East Algeria. Not only does this improve Gogami’s service capabilities – a technician was added, but it also improved parts availability and delivery to customers,” said Walid.

In addition to the workshop investment, Gogami also invested in training their staff at the new location to improve technical skills and knowledge. “Even more important, Gogami has a very motivated and active team of employees who do not hesitate to travel thousands of kilometers to meet with a customer and provide service. They do what it takes to satisfy customers and grow the business, and they are always looking for new opportunities to sell the value of Thermo King genuine parts.”
