TT-Thermo King Poland Opens New Service Centre – One Stop Shop
TT-Thermo King in Poland marked both its 20 year anniversary in the business and the opening of its new, modern 1.5 thousand square meter One Stop Shop Service Centre in Gluchowo, near Poznan on June 2 with a BIG celebration. Mr. Wojciech Żołądek, president of TT-Thermo King welcomed more than 300 people to the event, including Ray Pittard, president of Transport Solutions North America and EMEA, to share in the festivities and witness an official ribbon cutting ceremony.
With Ray as the guest of honor, customers, dignitaries, business partners, employees and colleagues from Thermo King Corporate enjoyed facility tours and speeches, product presentations and special attractions including a live band, light show and performances by dancers and acrobats. A highlight of the night was a special film demonstrating TT-Thermo King’s development and outstanding achievements during the past 20 years,” said Daria Ordyna, marketing specialist at TT-Thermo King.
The New Facility
The opening of the new Service Centre is demonstrative of the dealership’s success and represents an investment and commitment to the ‘One Stop Shop’ and dealer of the future philosophy.
Truly a One Stop Shop, the new Service Centre provides a full range of repairs and maintenance services on refrigeration units, chassis and vehicle bodies, full trailer mechanical repairs including brakes and axles, as well as offers post-accident repairs and other service activities. In addition, customers have, at their disposal, a truck wash stand and regional station of automotive diagnostics for technical inspections, control of the vehicle condition, and more.
“Apart from our trained refrigeration technicians that perform the complex servicing of refrigeration and HVAC units, we also offer qualified and experienced specialists in all service areas including mechanics, automotive diagnosticians and chassis repair specialists,” said Jakub Glinkowski, operations and service director for TT-Thermo King.
“The Service Centre offers spacious parking for easy maneuvering of trucks and trailers and close proximity to the A2 motorway making it very convenient for customers. Once inside, a spacious waiting room -- complete with a restroom, showers, kitchen and TV – give drivers comfort and a place to rejuvenate while their Thermo King and Frigoblock equipment is being serviced in one of the 10 separate repair stands in the massive service hall,” continued Jakub. “The facility is armed with specialist equipment and a fully stocked spare parts store to ensure all needs can be met, now and in the future as there is room to expand if the needs arise.”
Established in 1997, TT-Thermo King conducts operations in six Polish provinces. Its headquarters and largest service station is located in Grzędy near Warsaw, and additional sales offices and service stations are located in Rawa Mazowiecka, Lublin, Gręzów near Siedlce, Białystok, and now, Głuchowo near Poznań, which officially opened for business on June 26.
