Dealers Find Unique Ways to Highlight SLXi
Special SLXi introduction events continued throughout the summer for customers with various dealerships showcasing the technology, connectivity, reliability, and the solutions that are now possible with the new platform of trailer products. In this edition, we’re pleased to share the highlights of recent events held by Liberatus Hungary and Servo King in Austria.
Liberatus Hungary Celebrates SLXi in Historical Setting
Liberatus chose an iconic location to host its customer event in June: the Hungarian Railway Museum. “The museum showcased the history of transportation, which fit very well with our products and provided customers with a lot to see as well,” said Jozsef Torok, Thermo King area sales manager about the unique venue.
The event was a combined celebration of Thermo King being present in the Hungarian market for 25 years and the introduction of the SLXi trailer platform. Liberatus Founder and Principal Dr. George Lovasz greeted the 170+ guests and shared some history of the dealership before transitioning into the modern innovative offerings available today.
“Two well-known comedians were the stars of the show, keeping guests entertained while working in details about the SLXi’s Bluetooth functionality and reefer App,” explained Jozsef. “It was a fun way to make the event memorable and educational. And the entertainment included by the museum such as a diesel train ride, handcart operation and limousine travel on rails, truly made for an unforgettable and successful event.”
Throughout the event, Liberatus presented information on its full range of Thermo King products – vehicle-powered truck, self-powered truck, bus A/C units, as well as the SLXi.
Servo King Tours Austria with Roadshow
Servo King brought the SLXi with Bluetooth functionality directly to its customers in May, demonstrating the many benefits of Thermo King’s newest trailer unit technology while in action. “Our first roadshow proved to be a resounding success,” explained Gerald Bucher, CEO of Servo King. “It gave us the opportunity to show our current range of products and services to our customers while allowing us to receive helpful feedback from them.”
From May 3-19, the Servo King Roadshow traveled throughout Austria to visit customers and prospects with its trailer featuring the new SLXi unit. “Customers were able to test the integrated communications and telematics of the new unit and try out various settings through the available remote connectivity. As these features are all new, customers were very interested in learning more,” said Gerald.
A highlight of the Roadshow was a truck race held at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg, where Servo King, alongside the SLXi semi-trailer, presented a refrigerated van and a mobile service vehicle and held a raffle drawing for a real race truck drive on the track. “The comments we received from the customers that particular weekend were very positive,” said Gerald. “They were inspired by the SLXi performance and connectivity, as well as our full range of services, such as the mobile workshop vehicles.”
The Roadshow also made a special stop at the Servo King’s new location in St. Pölten/Ratzersdorf to celebrate the grand opening. The branch, which offers complete service for both Thermo King and Frigoblock product lines, is conveniently located between Vienna and Linz.
